Also wir haben uns heute endlich mal auf in die Stadt gemacht und sind zum Juwelier unsere Ringe abholen... :D Sehr schoene Ringe!!! Genau wie wir sie uns vorgestellt haben!!! und die Gravur ist auch super schoen geworden...und naja jetzt brauchen wir nur noch einen Dolmetscher aber naja da finden wir noch jemanden und dann kann geheiratet werden :)

So today we finally went and picked up our rings... They are aweseome!!! Exactly how we wanted them... and the engravings are really pretty too :) ohh well now we just need a translator, but i have good faith that well find someone... and then we can get married :)

Also heute nach der Arbeit sind Alex und ich shoppen gegangen und haben endlich fuer Alex einen Anzug gefunden... Am Anfang war es etwas schwierig, da wir uns mit den deutschen Groessen nicht ganz auskannten... Habens aber hinbekommen und brauchen jetzt halt nur noch Schuhe, die dazu passen, da die Laeden aber schlossen mussten wir dies verschieben... :)

So today after work Alex and I went shopping and found his suit... it was kinda difficult at first because we didnt know the german sizes and everything... So he has a suit now... we just need to find him some nice shoes but the stores closed so we couldnt look today anymore... :)

Also wir haben uns heute fuer ein Termin fuer die Trauung in der Kirche entschlossen und dies gleich mit der Kirche abgesprochen...

Also... am 25.5 um 12 Uhr in der Johannes Kirche Frohnau!!!

Bis auf das Datum steht aber sonst noch nicht so viel fest, da wir uns erst einmal auf die Hochzeit im Satndesamt konzentrieren moechten.

Also wir haben vor ca. 2 Wochen uns fuer Ringe netschieden, die dann dieses Wochenende endlich abgeholt werden :) Ausserdem habe ich mein perfektes Kleid fuer das Stadesamt am Mittwoch gefunden. Meine Schwester und Mutter haben auch beide ihre Kleider gefunden.

Jetzt muessen wir nur noch die Ringe abholen, einen Anzug fuer Alex kaufen und endlich einen Dolmetscher finden (alle die uns einfallen sind entweder mit uns verwandt, was sie nicht sein duerfen, oder sie sind noch net 18, was natuerlich auch nicht geht, oder... sie koennen einfach nicht...) naja wir haben jetzt noch ein paar ideen und hoffen jetzt das einer dieser Leute Zeit hat :)

Bleibt weiter spannend, aber wir freuen uns schon total :)

So today we decided on a date for the church...

the 25th of May at 12pm at the Johannes Kirche Frohnau... :)

But except for the date there isnt really anything set yet... we want to concentrate on the courthouse first...

Two weeks ago we found ther perfect rings and this weekend we will finally pick it up... this wednesday i found my dress and my mom and sister found dresses for themselves too :)

Now we just have to find something for Alex to wear and pick up the rings and find a translator (they have to be over 18, know english and german of course, cant be related to any of us and of course has to have time on a friday at 10:20...) We have some ideas we now just have to talked to them... I really hope it will work out :)

Wir haben heute unser Hochzeitsdatum bekommen :) 30.3. fuer das Standesamt und die Kirche kommt dann irgendwann im Sommer... Aber endlich und ihc bin echt aufgeregt, da es schon in 22 Tagen soweit ist :) Jetzt nur noch Alex Anzug besorgen und fuer mich ein Kleid und die Ringe abholen und dann kanns los gehen :)

So today we got our wedding date :)

The 30th of March for the courthouse :)

the wedding in the church will come sometime in the summer :)

But finally we know it and it really makes me excited... only 22 days left :) now we just have to buy alex a suit find a dress for me for the courthouse and pick up our rings and then we are ready to go :)

Also am Sonntag haben wir unsere Ringe gekauft :) Da wir ja noch keinen Termin fühlt es sich durch die Ringe ein Stück weit mehr real an.

Und dann heute... ENDLICH... das Standesamt hat angerufen und hat bestätigt, dass die Unterlagen wieder zurück sind und wir nun endlihc ein Termin ausmachen können :D sehr geil für uns... Also am Donnerstag werden wir endlich einen Termin bekommen :) und dann wirds etwas einfacher...

So last sunday we bought our rings :) Because we dont have a date yet for the wedding the rings make it feel a bit more real...

And FINALLY... the court house called and said that all the paper work came back alright and we could now come and get an appointement... So on thursday we will finally get our date :) and then things will get easier...

Also... das wird ein langer Eintrag, aber um alles zu verstehen braucht es eine Vorgeschichte...

Also dadurch das Alex Amerikaner ist, ist der ganze Bürokratiekram echt anstrengend und braucht auch seine Zeit. Nach dem wir einen Termin beim Standesamt hatten mussten wir jetzt warten, da unser Antrag durch das Kammergericht frei gesprochen werden musste, da Alex sonst ein weiteres Dokument hätte einrichen müssen, was aber von seinem Land nicht ausgegeben wird.

Wir haben bekamen gestern einen Brief vom Kammergericht, zu unserer Entäuschung war es leider eine Aufforderung eine Erklärung einzureichen, da Alex Nachname von beiden Nachnamen seiner Eltern auf der Geburtsurkunde abwich.

Also habe ich heute einen Text verfasst und ihn als Anhang in einer E-Mail verschickt.

Ich hoffe das das den Prozess nicht allzu lange aufhält.

So now in English...

For Alex is American he needs to hand in certain forms... well one of those forms (he needs to get it from the us...) isnt available... meaning the us dont EVER hand it out...

So now everything of our application needs to go to the chamber court where somebody will free him off this form...

So basically we are/ were waiting for a response that everything was fine and we could go and get an appointment for the court house when we got a letter from the chamber court saying that they wanted us to explain why alex name on his birth certificate is different from both of his parents last names...

So i wrote an explanation and send it back to them...

I hope it wont slow down the process too much...
